Ultherapy® Treatment
What is Ultherapy®?
Ultherapy® is a non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, without surgery. It is the only FDA-cleared treatment that provides these results. Ultherapy® uses micro-focused ultrasound technology to generate a thermal effect under the skin. The ultrasound stimulates collagen production that will leave your skin looking fresh, tight, and smooth.

Our experienced practitioners will discuss with you in your consultation if you would make a good fit for Ultherapy®. It is our main priority to ensure that each candidate is receiving the treatment that is best for their skin concerns. We will not move forward with a candidate who does not appear to meet the ideal candidate qualifications because we believe in safety and quality rather than the number of clients.
You will be approved for an Ultherapy® appointment if you are; showing visible signs of ageing skin, wrinkles, creases, fine lines or sagging skin. The ideal candidate for this treatment is someone who is looking for facelift results, without going under the knife. You will also make a great candidate if you are looking for results that improve over time, instead of looking for an immediate solution.
Treatment and Recovery
Ultherapy® is an easy, non-invasive treatment. Once you have discussed your skin concerns with your industry expert at South Okanagan Skin and Laser Center, your practitioner will cleanse your skin and begin the treatment. This treatment begins with applying the ultrasound gel to the area of concern. Once the ultrasound gel is applied, the Ultherapy® tool will be used across the area.
During the treatment, patients may feel a warming sensation from the Ultherapy® device. This is the result of the energy being deposited into the skin that is stimulating collagen production. This should not be painful, but depending on your pain levels, you may experience some discomfort.
After Ultherapy® you can return to regular day-to-day activities immediately. The recovery is very easy and does not require any downtime. You may experience redness, but that will subside within the first few hours after treatment.
