What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) particles, which are tiny calcium-based microspheres supported in a gel carrier. CaHA is similar to minerals found in your bones and teeth. It has been licensed as an injectable by Health Canada since 2005.
How does it work?
Radiesse is injected into the upper skin layers in either an undilute or hyperdilute form.
The gel carrier provides immediate volume and creates a scaffold for collagen deposition. The gel is later resorbed, and the exposed CaHA particles stimulate collagen and elastin production through a fibroblast response.
Radiesse can provide definition and structural support, but it is also commonly used in a hyperdilute form to improve skin quality and elasticity.
Two treatments are typically performed at 8-week intervals.
Ideal Candidate
Clients looking for tighter, healthier skin through natural mechanisms.
Radiesse is safe for most adults, but it should be avoided in individuals who are hypersensitive to any of its components, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have active skin infections. We also avoid injections within three weeks of dental or medical procedures and immunizations.
Why choose Radiesse?
1. Safe for many areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, arms, hands, knees, and buttocks.
2. Minimal downtime with long-lasting results (12–18+ months).
3. Beautiful, natural-looking results.
4. Versatile—it can be combined with other products, including HA dermal fillers and neuromodulators, for enhanced results.
Used To Treat
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a synthetic, biodegradable product composed of microparticles commonly found in suture material.
How does it work?
The Sculptra solution is injected into the upper skin layers, where the PLLA microparticles trigger an inflammatory pathway that boosts fibroblast activity and collagen production. Over time, the PLLA biodegrades, and gradual volume restoration occurs, resulting in firmer, healthier-looking skin.
Typically, Sculptra is used for full-face rejuvenation with a series of three sessions, each approximately 4–6 weeks apart.
Ideal Candidate
Clients looking for gradual, diffuse volume restoration through natural mechanisms.
Sculptra is safe for most adults, but like other injectables, it is avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding and when an active infection is present. Because Sculptra relies on an inflammatory-mediated process, we also avoid its use in patients with decreased immune function.
Why choose Sculptra?
1. Diffuse, soft, global restoration of volume loss in the temples, cheeks, lower face, and buttocks.
2. Gradual, natural-looking, long-lasting results (up to 24 months).
3. Improvement in skin laxity.
4. Minimal downtime.
How It Works
What is HArmonyCa?
HArmonyCa is powered by DART (Dual Action Rejuvenating Technology). It is a combination of hyaluronic acid dermal filler and calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) that provides immediate volume while stimulating collagen production for stronger, healthier-looking skin.
CaHA is composed of tiny calcium-based microspheres that are similar to minerals found in bones and teeth.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a sugar polymer found naturally in the skin. HA fillers are gel-based products that hydrate the skin while restoring structure and volume.
How does it work?
HArmonyCa is injected into the upper skin layers in the lateral and lower areas of the face. Immediate lift and tightening occur from the HA component, followed by gradual improvements in skin quality and firmness through collagen and elastin production.
Over time, the HA and CaHA are broken down by the body, but the skin remains firmer, smoother, and visibly lifted.
Typically, one treatment is performed and repeated every 12–18 months.
Ideal Candidate
Clients who have lower-face laxity, as evidenced by a “pinch” test or significant movement of the facial tissues when leaning forward.
HArmonyCa is safe for most adults, but it should be avoided in individuals who are hypersensitive to any of its components, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have active skin infections. We also avoid injections within three weeks of dental or medical procedures and immunizations.
Why choose HArmonyCa?
1. Natural-looking volume restoration that provides both immediate and long-lasting results.
2. Significant improvement in lower-face laxity, resulting in firmer, healthier-looking skin.
3. A single, cost-effective treatment with minimal downtime.
